LPG cylinder price update: No change in prices! Check latest rates in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai

 

LPG cylinder price update: Prices of both commercial and domestic cooking gas have not been revised by the state-run oil marketing companies. The prices for both commercial and domestic LPG cylinders are revised on the first day of every month.

The commercial LPG prices were last changed in the month of November. OMCs had cut the commercial cooking gas price by Rs 115.50. This was the seventh reduction in the price of commercial LPG price since June. So far, rates have come down by Rs 610 per 19-kg cylinder.

As per the latest revised rates, commercial LPG cylinder would cost Rs 1,744 in Deli.

In Mumbai a 19-kg tank will cost Rs 1,696 whereas in Kolkata it will cost Rs 1846. In Chennai, those using the 19-kg tank will have to pay Rs 1,893.  

The last change in domestic LPG cylinder price was done by OMCs in May. In Delhi, the domestic cooking tank is available at Rs 1,003 per unit. In Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, the rates are at Rs 1029, Rs 1002.50, and Rs 1018.50, respectively.

The rates of LPG cylinders differ from state to state depending on the local VAT. Domestic and Commercial are the two categories under which LPG cylinders are sold. Domestic cylinders are meant for household purposes and commercial cylinders are used for commercial purposes such as the ones used for hotels, restaurants, industrial purposes and others.
