Driving License Renewal: Big Update! Now you can renew your license sitting at home, online facility will be available soon
Driving License Renewal Online Divisional Inspector (RI) Kaushal Kumar Singh says that people now have to come to the department to get DL renewed, duplicate made and address changed. When the online system is implemented, this work will also be done sitting at home. The government has made arrangements for learning and making permanent DL online long ago.
Driving License Renewal Online: For the convenience of the people, the government has made the arrangement for making Driving License (DL) online. Now preparations are underway to make arrangements for its renewal and change of home address online. The proposal for this is pending at the government level.
Once the proposal is passed and this system is implemented, people will be able to renew their DL sitting at home and also change their address. The government has made arrangements for learning and making permanent DL online long ago. The fee for learning is Rs 150 per category.
Online examination for learning license at home
The fee for making a permanent DL for a two-wheeler is Rs 600, and for making a DL for both two and four wheelers, the fee is Rs 1,000. The examination for issuing learning license is also online i.e. people take the examination sitting at home.
However, people still have to visit the Assistant Divisional Transport Officer (ARTO) office for renewal, duplicate license and change of address.
There will also be online system for renewal
Now the government is proposing to make this system online also. It is expected that the system will be online soon. With this, people will also be able to get their DL renewed sitting at home. Not only this, renewal of RC will also be online. Online fees and other things will also be deposited.

Number of vehicles in the district
There are 1.80 lakh private vehicles and 8 thousand commercial vehicles in the district.
