Flipkart ‘Big 10 Sale’ Scheduled From May 14 to May 18: What Offers to Expect

Flipkart has announced a new sale, named the ‘Big 10 Sale’, which will start on May 14 – the same day the Amazon Great Indian Sale ends. The e-commerce startup is calling it the ‘Big 10 Sale’ to celebrate its 10-year anniversary of being in business. The upcoming Flipkart sale is expected to have many deals and offers listed, along with contests and a chance to do free shopping as well.
Flipkart Big 10 Sale is set to kick off on Sunday, May 14, and the company has announced numerous discounts and offers from smartphone that will kick off on Monday, May 15.

As a part of Flipkart Big 10 Sale, Samsung will be offering its Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphones at Rs. 6,490 (flat discount of Rs. 2,500) and Rs. 7,990 (flat discount of Rs. 1,000) respectively. The South Korean company's Galaxy On Nxt smartphone with 64GB inbuilt storage will also be available at Rs. 14,900 (flat discount of Rs. 3,000) as part of the sale.

Lenovo will be offering its Z2 Plus smartphone at Rs. 11,999 (flat discount of Rs. 6,000) and will offer a flat discount of Rs. 2,000 across all variants of K5 Note with phone's 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant set to be available at Rs. 11,499 in the Flipkart Big 10 sale. Moto E3 Power and Moto G Turbo smartphones will be available at at Rs. 6,999 (flat discount of Rs. 1,000) and Rs. 6,999 (flat Rs. 5,500 off) respectively as part of the Flipkart Big 10 Sale.

Panasonic will be offering its Eluga Ray X and Eluga Ray Max (4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage) smartphones at Rs. 8,499 (Flat Rs.500 off) and Rs.11,499 (flat Rs. 1,000 discount) respectively. Interestingly, the company is also launching its P85 and Eluga Ray smartphones through this sale. The Panasonic P85 comes with a 4000mAh battery and will be priced at Rs. 6,499, going as low as Rs. 4,999 with an additional Rs. 1,500 discount on exchange. The Eluga Ray will be available at Rs. 7,999, and go as low as 6,999 with an additional Rs. 1,500 discount on exchange.

As part of the Flipkart Big 10 Sale, Huawei P9 will be available at Rs. 29,999 (with Rs. 10,000 discount on all cards) and Honor 8 will be available at Rs. 24,999 (with additional Rs. 5,000 discount on exchange). Asus ZenFone 3 will be available at Rs. 14,999 (flat Rs. 7,000 discount) and Asus ZenFone 3 Laser will be offered at Rs. 11,999 (flat Rs. 8,000 discount) as part of the sale.

Swipe will be offering Elite Sense and Elite Max smartphones at Rs. 5,999 (flat Rs. 1,500 discount) and Rs. 7,999 (flat Rs. 5,000 discount) as part of the sale. Sansui will be launching its Horizon 2 smartphone with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage at Rs. 4,999 as part of the sale.


For the Big 10 Sale, Flipkart has partnered with HDFC, so expect cashback on credit card purchases. Companies like Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, and Lenovo are its sale partners, so discount on smartphones from these companies are also expected. There is also a chance to win an international trip and do free shopping site-wide in the Flipkart sale, but these contest details are not available at the moment.
Flipkart is also giving away free vouchers every hour during the sale period. The sale will go on from May 14 to May 18. The Flipkart sale’s deals and offers on mobiles, electronics, and accessories will begin on May 15. To celebrate the decade anniversary, Flipkart will give as many as 10 offers on select products. The e-commerce site recently ended its Summer Shopping Days sale on May 4, where it listed discounts and offers in the electronics sections ranging from mobiles to smartwatches and tablets. Smartphones included the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Google Pixel, Moto G5 Plus, Moto X Play, Samsung On Nxt, and Samsung On8.
