Dividend stocks: Two shares to trade ex-dividend, one to declare dividend today

 


Dividend stocks 2023: After the end of Q4 results season, stock market investors and observers are eagerly awaiting the reward payments announced by the listed entities from their capital reserves. Dividend payment is one of those rewards that has now come in focus. For such investors, there is a piece of stock market news as two companies are going to trade ex-dividend stock today whereas one is going to discuss dividend payment in its board meeting scheduled today. Dividend paying stocks that are going to trade ex-dividend today are QGO Finance and Ponni Sugars(E) whereas board of directors of Sanmit Infra is going to consider and approve dividend payment in its board meeting today.

EX-DIVIDEND STOCKS

As mentioned above, QGO Finance Ltd is going to trade ex-dividend today as the company has declared ₹0.10 per share dividend to its eligible shareholders. The company board has fixed 8th June 2023 as record date for finalising eligible shareholders.

The financial company informed Indian stock market exchanges about the dividend citing, “Pursuant to provisions of Regulation 30 and 33 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 we would like to inform you that the the following business were transacted at the meeting of the Board of Directors of QGO Finance Limited (‘The Company’) held today i.e., Monday, May 29, 2023 at 11:45 AM and concluded at 12:45 PM have inter alia, considered, approved and taken on record the following: 2. Declaration of Interim Dividend at Rs. 0.1 (1%) per Equity Share (Subject to Deduction of TDS) on the face value of the paid-up equity shares of Rupees 10/- each for the quarter Jan 23 to March 23.”

Likewise, Ponni Sugars(E) has also declared ₹6.50 per share dividend to its eligible shareholders and its board has fixed 8th June 2023 as record date for finalising the eligible shareholders for this ₹6.50 per share dividend payment.

The dividend stock informed Indian exchanges about the same citing, “The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of Rs.6.50 (Rupees Six and Paise Fifty only) per Equity Share of Rs.10 each for the financial year 2022-23. The Dividend, if approved by the Members at the Annual General Meeting will be paid by 29th June 2023.”

STOCK TO DECLARE DIVIDEND TODAY

Sanmit Infra stock will be in focus today as the company is expected to announce dividend for its eligible shareholders in its board meeting scheduled today.

The infra company informed Indian bourses about the dividend proposal citing, “The Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled on 08/06/2023 ,inter alia, to consider and approve Regulation 29 & 30 of the Securities Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements),2015. With reference to the above cited subject, this is to bring to your kind notice that the Board of Directors are going to consider, inter alia the proposal to recommend the declaration of Final Dividend payment subject to consideration of the Audit Committee for the FY 2022-23, at their meeting to be held on Thursday, 08t: June, 2023 at 04.00 P.M. at the registered office of the Company.”
