Corona will end by the end of this year, WHO awakens confidence; But…

The corona epidemic will end by the year 2022, but Dr. Tedrus Adhanom, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), who has expressed its confidence, has also told the condition. He said that developed countries will have to share their vaccine with other countries. Only then can we get rid of this infection.

New York: The  world has been fighting with different variants of the corona virus for the last 2 years. In such a situation, everyone is tired of corona virus at this time. People are thinking that when will this epidemic spread from Wuhan, China end? The answer has been found. Now the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has expressed confidence of the end of this disease in 2022, but he has also put a condition for this. As it is being said from the beginning that the only way to avoid infection is corona vaccine. At the same time, Tedrus Adhanom has said that 2022 may be the last year of the corona epidemic, but for this developed countries will have to share their vaccines with other countries. Only then can we get rid of this infection.

VACCINE HOARDERS CAN BECOME A HINDRANCE

At the same time, he said that the corona virus has entered its third year. In such a situation, we have to implement the policy of maximum vaccine. With full confidence, the WHO chief said that the epidemic would end by this year, but vaccine hoarders could become a hindrance. In such a situation, the inequality of the vaccine allowed the Omicron variant to flourish. He further said that the greater the inequality of the vaccine, the greater the risk remains.

INEQUALITY WILL HAVE TO END, ONLY THEN THE END OF THE EPIDEMIC IS POSSIBLE

He said in his statement, 'If we eliminate vaccination distribution inequality, then the end of the epidemic is possible. Global Vaccine Facility COVAX, WHO and our partners are working around the world to make vaccines, tests and treatments accessible to those who need them. He further said that till now lakhs of lives have been saved by the vaccine. New drugs and medical tools are also available with doctors to prevent and treat Kovid-19.

MANY PARTS OF THE WORLD LAG BEHIND IN TAKING VACCINE

Tedres said that the latest figures show that many parts of the world are lagging behind in taking vaccinations. This includes countries like Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad and Haiti. In these countries, the population of fully vaccinated people is less than one percent. Whereas in high-income countries, this figure has been estimated to be more than 70 percent. In such a situation, after dealing with vaccination inequality, we can imagine returning to a normal life.
