Good News! Doorstep delivery of CNG after diesel, the people of which city will get this facility first?

 


After the successful doorstep delivery of diesel, now the door-to-door delivery of CNG is about to begin. Startup company The Fuel Delivery has joined hands with Mahanagar Gas Limited to start this service in Mumbai and is expected to start providing this facility in the city by Diwali this year.

Mumbai.  After the facility of doorstep delivery of diesel, that is, delivery of fuel at the doorstep, now this facility is being started for CNG as well. First of all this facility is being started in Mumbai. Energy distributor startup 'The Fuel Delivery' will soon start home delivery of CNG to Mumbaikars.

'The Fuel Delivery' has signed an LOI with Mahanagar Gas Limited to start this service in Mumbai. Under the agreement between the two companies, CNG stations will be set up in the city and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) will be provided to the ordering customers at their doorsteps. Although, it has not been told yet that from when the customers will be able to order CNG but the company has assured to start this facility soon.

The fuel delivery will be supplied to all vehicles, including auto-cabs,
the doorstep delivery service of CNG will be available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, a statement said. Through this, the fuel needs of other vehicles including CNG-run auto rickshaws, cabs, cars, private and commercial vehicles, school buses will be met. With the help of mobile CNG stations being set up in the city, fuel will be delivered to the customers at their doorsteps.

Getting rid of long queues at the pump
CNG vehicle drivers know that they have to wait in long queues at the pump to fill their tank. The major reason for this is that CNG pumps are very limited in comparison to petrol and diesel. After the start of its home delivery, customers will not have to wait in long queues for CNG.

Service startup The Fuel Delivery will be the first to start in these areas,
said that at present it has got approval from MGL (Mahanagar Gas Limited) to operate two mobile CNG stations in Mumbai. This service will start from Sion and Mahape in Mumbai in the next three months and gradually it will be extended to other parts of the city as well. Startup Founder-CEO Rakshit Mathur said, “After successfully delivering doorstep diesel across the country, we are taking a step forward by announcing doorstep delivery of CNG.

This startup company has already successfully done home delivery of diesel in many major cities of the country including Delhi-NCR. The company said that in collaboration with MGL, clearance has also been taken from Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organization (PESO). Rakshit said that this move will not only make it easier for Mumbaikars to switch to CNG vehicles, but they will also be able to save 59 percent compared to petrol and 30 percent compared to diesel.
