Ration Card Rule: Free ration will not be available from February 15, do E-KYC today, know the complete process

 

Ration Card Ekyc: E-KYC is mandatory for ration card. If e-KYC is not done after 15 February 2025, then free ration card will stop. E-KYC is an online process through which your identity is verified. E-KYC process can be completed with the help of Mera Ration 2.0 app.

Ration Card Ekyc: It is mandatory to get e-KYC done for ration card. If you do not get e-KYC done, you will not get ration card after 15 February 2025. UP Food and Supplies Department has set a deadline of 15 February 2025 to complete ration card e-KYC. If you do not do this, you will stop getting free ration after 15 February 2025.

What is e-KYC

e-KYC is an electronic process through which the identity of the user is verified. Its full form is – Know Your Customer. e-KYC is a digital process which verifies the identity of the user. Aadhar card is used in this. With its help, biometric or OTP based verification is done.

How to complete ration card e-KYC

  • For this, first you have to visit the Mera Ration 2.0 app. With its help e-KYC can be completed.
  • First of all you have to visit Google Play Store.
  • After this, you have to search the Mera Ration 2.0 app. Then it has to be installed.
  • After this, the mobile number has to be entered and then the captcha code has to be entered.
  • Then you have to enter the OTP, which will be received on your registered mobile number.
  • After this it has to be submitted.
  • After this you have to click on the “Manage Family Details” option.
  • After this, the required information has to be entered and e-KYC has to be completed.
  • After this, you have to tap on the submit button.

Note – Please note that the deadline for completing ration card e-KYC may be different for different states. Your family members can be verified in e-KYC. For this, Aadhaar card details of family members can be taken from you. Also other details may be asked. With the help of Aadhaar card e-KYC, information of eligible members is taken. Also, e-KYC is necessary to prevent fraud.
