AICTE Scholarship for Engineering Students: There is big news for students studying engineering. The All India Council for Technical Education has issued a notification to provide scholarships up to Rs 50,000 for engineering students. Interested engineering students can apply in online mode on the official website yashasvi.aicte.gov.in.

AICTE Scholarship for Engineering Students: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched a great scholarship scheme for engineering and diploma students. Under the ‘Young Achievers Scholarship and Holistic Academic Skills Enterprise Initiative (Yashasvi) Scheme 2025’, annual scholarship will be given to diploma and degree students of engineering. A total of 5200 students will be able to take advantage of the Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme.

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 is for promising students studying core engineering. Every detail related to this can be checked on the official website yashasvi.aicte.gov.in. Students will also have to apply for scholarship through this website. You can also see notifications related to this on AICTE’s social media account X (earlier Twitter). Interested students have to apply for Yashasvi Scholarship by 15 February 2025.

Yashasvi Scholarship 2025: Who will get Yashasvi Scholarship?

The AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme is specifically for students pursuing degree and diploma courses in core branches of engineering and technology. A total of 5,200 scholarships will be given to eligible students under the Yashasvi scheme. Out of these, 2593 scholarships have been reserved for degree and 2607 for diploma students. Degree students will be given a scholarship amount of Rs 50,000 per annum (up to a maximum of 4 years) and diploma students will be given a scholarship amount of Rs 30,000 per annum (up to a maximum of 3 years).

Yashasvi Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility criteria for Yashasvi Scholarship

AICTE has set some eligibility criteria to avail the Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme, which every student should know.

1- Students should have taken admission in the first year of degree or diploma course or second year through lateral entry in an institute recognized by AICTE.

2- The annual family income of the applicants should not exceed Rs 8 lakh.

3- The income certificate should be issued by the State / Union Territory Government.

Useful thing

Students wishing to avail this scholarship scheme should fill their form by 15 February 2025. Before applying, check the eligibility and all the required documents.

1- There should be a maximum gap of two years between the qualifying examination and admission in the current course.

2- This scholarship is only for those in core engineering branch. If the student takes transfer to any other branch, then his scholarship will be canceled.

3- If a student of reserved category is selected in the merit list of general category, then he will be considered as belonging to the general category.
