IMD Alert: Weather will deteriorate due to storm and rain in these states, know the weather condition in your state

 

IMD has predicted strong thunderstorms, lightning, strong winds in eastern and central India between March 20 and 23. On the other hand, more changes in the weather will be seen in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha on March 20 and 22.

Weather Update: Rapid changes in the weather are being seen in India. After the departure of winter, the temperature has started increasing in many states of the country. In some places, conditions like storm and rain have started developing. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted strong storms, lightning, strong winds in eastern and central India between 20 and 23 March. The weather may have the most impact on 20 and 22 March, especially in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha located in the plains of the Ganges. The Meteorological Department has advised the people living in these states to remain alert and take necessary safety measures.

North interior Odisha has been reeling under intense heat for the past few days, where heatwave conditions prevailed. However, according to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will drop from March 19 and people will get some relief from the heat. During the last 24 hours, incidents of hailstorm were reported in some areas of Uttarakhand, Assam and Jharkhand. Apart from this, there have been reports of strong winds in Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Gangetic West Bengal.

Strong winds will blow in these states

Weather changes will be seen in eastern and central India due to the effect of winds coming from the Bay of Bengal. Strong winds (40-60 kmph) may blow along with light to moderate rain in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha between March 20 and 22. Hailstorm is likely in Bihar on March 21 and 22, in Jharkhand on March 20 and in Odisha between March 20 and 22. Apart from this, light to moderate rain and snowfall may continue in Arunachal Pradesh for the next 5 days, while light to moderate rain may also occur in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

How will the weather be in North India

Regarding the temperature, the Meteorological Department has predicted that the maximum temperature in North-West India may increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 3 days. At the same time, the temperature will remain stable in Central India and interior parts of Maharashtra for the next 24 hours, but after that it may fall by 2-4 degrees Celsius. In East India too, the temperature will remain stable for the next 3 days and then a drop of 3-5 degrees can be seen. The temperature in Gujarat will remain stable for the next 4 days and then it is likely to increase by 2-3 degrees.

How will be the condition of Delhi-NCR

Weather changes will also be seen in Delhi-NCR. On March 18, the sky will be clear, but strong winds (20-30 km per hour) will blow and the maximum temperature will be between 29-31 degrees. On March 19, there will be light fog in the morning, while the temperature is likely to be between 31-33 degrees during the day. On March 20, there will be light clouds, strong winds will blow and the maximum temperature can go up to 33-35 degrees. On March 21, the sky will be clear and the temperature can remain between 32-34 degrees with light fog in the morning.
