Alert: If your vehicle does not have a high security number plate, then get ready to pay a challan of 5,000, know how to apply?

 


The court has made it mandatory to install high security number plates in vehicles, after which the governments have woken up. In UP, a challan of Rs 5,000 will be deducted if the high security number plate is not installed.

High security number has now become mandatory in two wheeler and four wheeler private vehicles. The special thing in this is that for vehicles whose number plate's last digit is 0 or one, November 15, 2021 will be the last date. Similarly, on the basis of the last digit of the vehicles, it will be necessary to get the number plates installed on different dates, otherwise, for checking, a fine of up to five thousand rupees may have to be paid.

It is a matter of relief that the booking receipt of the vehicle owners who have booked SHRP will be valid. However, challan action against the high security number has not been announced. But keeping in view the safety of the vehicle, it will be mandatory to install number plates in private vehicles. Additional Transport Commissioner Devendra Singh said that no change has been made in the date of imposition of HSRP.

Booking can be done anywhere in UP

If your vehicle is registered outside Lucknow in any other district of UP, then there is no need to worry. By booking a high security number, you can get the number plate installed from anywhere. However, booking of high security numbers on vehicles registered in other states outside UP will not be possible in UP.

High security number plates can also be installed sitting at home. There will be two options in the online application for this. First sitting at home on the website of www.siam.in and second by going to the showroom of the company whose vehicle is there. For this, the RC of the vehicle has to be taken. If you get it installed at home then you will have to pay an additional charge of Rs 100 for two wheelers and Rs 200 for four wheelers. There will be no extra charge for installation by visiting the showroom.
