This order of Aurangabad district administration has been issued late on Monday and will be effective on the night of 25 November. Recently, the administration had issued an order that those who have not received a single dose of the vaccine cannot enter the historical places and monuments of Aurangabad.

According to the official release, auto drivers who have not taken a single dose of the vaccine, their autorickshaws will be confiscated and fines will also be imposed. This decision has been taken because a large number of people use it to go from one place to another i.e. the fear of spreading the infection is high. The administration has requested the auto drivers to get at least one dose of the vaccine.
Apart from this, according to the instructions of the district administration, the Deputy Commissioner (Labour) will check the vaccination certificates of workers, hotel owners and other eateries and if any worker or owner of a shop/commercial establishment is found not getting a single dose of vaccine, then the shop/commercial The establishment will be sealed. If a worker has not received a single dose of the vaccine at a liquor shop, then action will be taken by the Excise Department.
AURANGABAD LAGS BEHIND IN VACCINATION COVERAGE
Aurangabad is one of the backward districts in the Mahathawada region in terms of vaccination coverage and ranks 26th among 36 districts of Maharashtra. Earlier this month, PM Modi had a meeting through video conferencing with the district collectors of those districts where vaccination coverage is very less. According to official data, 32,24,677 people can get the vaccine dose in Aurangabad district, but out of this, only 27.78 percent have received both doses till November 22. 64.36 percent people have taken at least one dose. To increase the vaccination coverage, the district administration has already directed to check vaccination certificates of customers from fair price shops, gas agencies and petrol pumps.
