Agra Oil Mill Managing Director Kumar Krishna Gopal, businessmen Brajmohan Agarwal and Dinesh Goyal said that on the call of SEA, major edible oil companies have cut the prices of edible oil by Rs 4 to 7 per liter. These include Gautam Adani's Adani Wilmar and yoga guru Ramdev's Ruchi Soya Industries. Agra companies, which produce 600 tonnes of oil per day, have already taken this decision. This decision has been implemented from Thursday. On Wednesday, mustard oil became Rs 180 per liter in the market at Rs 173 per liter. He told that this year domestic soybean and groundnut crop is picking up. While the initial reports of mustard sowing are very encouraging and bountiful rapeseed crop is expected. The world edible oil supply situation is improving, which is likely to bring down international prices further. This could lead to further reduction in home prices in the upcoming wedding season.

600 tonnes per day production

Agra Oil Mill's Managing Director Kumar Krishna Gopal, businessmen Brajmohan Agarwal and Dinesh Goyal say that due to fluctuation in the price of mustard, low demand in the market and less availability of mustard, crushing has stopped in all the mills of Agra. . Every day 600 tonnes of mustard oil is produced here. Mustard is produced in 66 thousand hectares in Agra, but due to high demand, a large quantity of mustard comes from Haryana and Rajasthan in Mandi and Kirawali Mandi located on Kagarol Road in Kheragarh. Agra Oil Mill, BP Oil Mill, Sharda Oil Mill and Mahesh Oil Mill, which produce about 500 tonnes of mustard oil every day, buy mustard directly from Haryana and Rajasthan Mandi. In addition to six more oil mills in the district, there are more than 200 sprayers. By whom about 100 tonnes of oil is produced every day, about two thousand quintals of mustard are coming daily in Mandi and Kirawali Mandi located in Kagaraul in Kheragarh, but now the arrival is decreasing. On Wednesday, only 20 quintals of mustard arrived, while the price stood at Rs 7800 per quintal. More or less the same is the condition of Kiravali Mandi.
