Indian Railway: Railways has given a big update on passenger services. It has been told from its side that PRS services will not be available for about four and a half hours between 12-13 April. This means that many types of services including booking and cancellation will remain closed during this period. To avoid inconvenience, Railways has given this information to the passengers.
New Delhi: Railways has an important update for the passengers. If you are planning to travel somewhere by train, then pay attention. Delhi PRS services will be temporarily closed for several hours between midnight on 12-13 April. This means that no facilities will be available during this period. These include Reservation, Cancellation, Charting, PRS Inquiry (with counter also at 139), Internet Booking and EDR services. The reason for this is static and dynamic database activity. Services will be affected for approximately 4.30 hours. None of these services will be available from 11.45 pm on April 12 to 4.15 am on April 13.
Railways has given this information to save the passengers from inconvenience. Chief Public Relations Officer Deepak Kumar said that between April 12-13, Delhi PRS service will be temporarily unavailable for about four and a half hours. Due to this, passengers will not be able to get many types of services.

PRS stands for Passenger Reservation System. This is online ticket booking service provided by Indian Railways. Using PRS, passengers book reserved and unreserved tickets in trains.
