So far e-KYC of only 40 percent ration card holders has been done in the district. The department has also given strict instructions to the ration dealers for this.

At present, there are 267361 card holders of eligible households in the district. At the same time, there are 37766 card holders of Antyodaya.

All of them are taking advantage of the food grain scheme. To avoid any kind of irregularity or fraud, it has been made mandatory to get e-KYC done for all ration card holders.

After getting instructions from the government level, the department has started working on it rapidly. So far forty percent work has been completed. It has been said that ration card holders should get their verification done by September 5 at any cost.

Supply Inspector Ajit Kumar Yadav says that the work has to be completed within the stipulated time. For this, the ration dealers have a list. Those who do not get e-KYC done may be deprived of the benefits of the scheme. Strict instructions have been received in this regard from the government level.

Information about the rules is also being given in the open meetings of the panchayats to get this work completed at the block level. At the same time, it is also being investigated whether there is any ineligible among the ration card holders. Such ineligible people will be weeded out.
