Carrying these things is prohibited
- You cannot carry self-defense items like pepper spray and stick during air travel. These are tools that harm others. Apart from this, things like razor, blade, scissors, nail filer and nail cutter cannot be carried during travel.
- You cannot carry dry coconut with you in flight. Dry coconut is a flammable item, so it is not allowed to be carried in check-in luggage.
- Apart from this, carrying raw whole coconut is also prohibited.
- Apart from bidi, cigarette and tobacco, do not carry things like ganja and heroin. In many flights, carrying more than 100 ml of liquid is also not permitted. However, e-cigarettes can be carried under certain rules.
- Things like lighter, matchstick, thinner, paint catch fire very quickly. You cannot carry any such thing in your carry bag or luggage bag.
- Many people do not know that sports items like baseball bat, hockey stick, golf club, ski poles, bow and arrow cannot be carried in flight.

If you are traveling for the first time, then know these things too
- In India, for domestic flights, you have to reach the airport 2 hours before the flight departure time and 4 hours before the international flight departure.
- When you are going to enter after reaching the airport, you will have to show your ID proof and flight ticket to the security personnel present at the gate.
- When you enter the airport from the gate, you will have to reach the desk of your airline. Here, show the necessary documents and get the boarding pass.
- After getting the boarding pass, check in your luggage or bag. If you have a hand bag up to the weight prescribed by the airline, then there is no need to check in luggage. You can keep that hand bag with you.
- After checking in luggage, you have to go through a security check. Here the security personnel allow you to go further only after thoroughly checking you and being satisfied.
- After the security check, you reach the boarding gate number indicated for the flight and wait for the bus that will take you to the flight. After landing here, you have to go inside the flight and sit on your designated seat and the flight takes off as soon as the time comes.
