Bank FD: These 7 banks have changed the interest rates of FD, getting strong returns, check the new rates

 

Many banks have changed the interest rates of FD in October. Big banks like Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank are also included in this list.

Bank FD: Many people consider Dhanteras and Diwali as the best time for investment. Fixed deposit is also considered a great option for savings. Banks also keep changing the interest rates of FD from time to time. Keeping in view the festive season, many banks have revised the interest rates of FD before Diwali.

This list includes both government and private sector banks. Some banks are also offering interest up to 9%. Most banks are offering extra interest to senior citizens as compared to general citizens. Let’s know which one is offering how much interest at present-

These private banks revised the interest rates of FD

  • Axis Bank has recently changed the interest rates of FDs. It is offering 3% to 7.25% interest on tenures of 7 days to 10 years. Senior citizens are getting 0.50% extra interest.
  • ICICI Bank has made new interest rates effective from 19 October for FDs of less than Rs 3 crore. General citizens are getting 3% to 7.25% interest on tenures of 7 days to 10 years.
  • IDFC First Bank is offering 3% to 7.75% interest to general citizens on tenures of 7 days to 10 years. Senior citizens are getting 3.5% to 8.25% interest.
  • Unity Small Finance Bank has also changed the interest rates for FDs of less than Rs 3 crore. It is offering 4.50% to 9% interest to general citizens on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. Senior citizens are getting 4.50% to 9.5% interest.
  • IndusInd has also revised the interest rates of FD in October. General citizens are getting 3.5% to 7.75% interest on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. Senior citizens are getting 4% to 8.25% interest.

Interest rates of these government banks (Fixed Deposit) have changed

Punjab National Bank has also changed the interest rates of FD in October. It is offering 3.50% to 7.25% interest to general citizens. The interest rate for senior citizens is 4% to 7.75%.

Bank of Baroda has also changed the interest rate of fixed deposits this month. It is offering 4.25% to 7.15% interest to general citizens. The interest rate for senior citizens is 4.75% to 7.65%.
