Expressway Toll Charges Hike: New toll rates implemented on this expressway, travel became costlier by 12 percent

 

Yamuna Expressway Toll Charges New toll rates have come into effect on Yamuna Expressway from Wednesday midnight. With this, travelling on the expressway between Greater Noida and Agra has become costlier by 12 percent. After the order of the 82nd board meeting was issued by Yamuna Authority, Jaypee Infratech, the operating company of Yamuna Expressway, has implemented the new toll rates.

Expressway Toll Charges Hike: Yamuna Expressway Toll Charges New toll rates came into effect on Yamuna Expressway from Wednesday night. With this, the journey on the expressway between Greater Noida and Agra has become costlier by 12 percent.

New Toll Rates After the order of the 82nd board meeting was issued by the Yamuna Authority, JP Infratech, the operating company of Yamuna Expressway, has implemented the new toll rates.

Yamuna Epressway Toll Rates Increased In the 82nd board meeting of Yamuna Authority held on 26 September, the proposal to increase the toll rates on Yamuna Expressway was approved. Under this, the toll has been increased from five percent to 12 percent on the expressway. This increase was approved to be made from October 1, but due to delay in issuing office orders, it has been implemented from midnight of October 2.

With the implementation of new toll rates, drivers traveling on the expressway will have to pay toll fee accordingly.

JK Sharma, manager of Jewar toll plaza of Yamuna Expressway, said that after receiving the order of toll rate hike from Yamuna Authority, the new rates have been implemented from Wednesday midnight.
