Our Government has made cowin portal for vaccination purpose where we can enroll for the vaccination programme. There are so many questions arising in ones mind how to register in the portal and what are the documents required. How to search for the vaccine for a particular location. The second phase of vaccination for the people for the age group of 18-44 has also started.
This portal is very easy to use and user friendly. Here you can register by your mobile number. you can register by visiting to the website https://www.cowin.gov.in/home now you have to click on the option “Register/ Sign in Yourself and you can register for vaccination. The age limit for registering for the vaccination is above 18. You can take appointment of the vaccination from here you can register 4 people from one mobile number. You can get register by submitting your aadhaar card /passport/driving license/pancard /voter iD (EPIC)/Passbook
If you still face any problem in vaccination you can call on 1075 which is a helpline number for any kind of queries. They will definitely help you. This registration process is free of cost. The online registration is mandatory for the age group of 18-44
To get vaccinated for age group 18-44 you have to schedule appointment by finding the vaccination availability nearby your area. Once you will schedule your appointment the date and time of slot through an sms will come at your registered mobile number. You can also download the slip of appointment online. You can easily find a vaccination centre you can search it on site by entering the pin code or selecting the state and then district of your choice. If you will not reach on time and your appointment missed due to any reason you can reschedule it again by reschedule tab.
When you are scheduling the appointment for yourself you can view which vaccine is available in that center (covishield or covaxin). If your first dose of vaccine is covishield the next dose will also be the same vaccine. You can schedule appointment of your vaccine for first and second dose on different centres. It is not compulsory to get vaccinated on the same center always.
You can easily download the vaccine certificate from cowin portal. Just click on the download certicate button and one pdf form of vaccine certificate will get download which you can save on your computer.
