LIC Holiday New Rule: If you are a customer of Life Insurance Corporation i.e. LIC, then it is very important for you to know this news. Actually, LIC will now work only 5 days a week, the remaining two days will be considered as public holiday.

New Delhi: LIC Holiday New Rule:  If you are a customer of Life Insurance Corporation i.e. LIC, then it is very important for you to know this news. Actually, LIC will now work only 5 days a week, the remaining two days will be considered as public holiday. Now every Saturday there will be a holiday for LIC employees. 

LIC OFFICE WILL NOW OPEN FOR 5 DAYS

So after May 10, if you go to LIC office, then you have kept in mind that you should go only between Monday to Friday, because the office will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. In fact, the central government has announced that now every Saturday will also be considered as Public Holiday for LIC.

SATURDAY WILL ALSO BE A HOLIDAY 

According to the new rules of LIC, from May 10, LIC offices will work only 5 days a week. Now every Saturday there will be a holiday for employees, which till now was only on Sunday. But now the employees will get a weekly off of 2 days a week. 

CHANGES TO LIC'S HOLIDAY RULES 

LIC has also informed the people about this change in the working days of LIC by advertising in newspapers. According to the new rules, the office of LIC will be open from Monday to Friday after May 10, its timings will be from 10 am to 5:30 pm. So if you are going to LIC office for any work, then take care of both the day and the time, otherwise you will get the office closed and will have to return empty handed. The government has made these changes only last month. These changes have been made by the government on the basis of the powers received under section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881. 

LIC EARNS BUMPERS

LIC has earned a bumper of Rs 1.84 lakh crore from the premium in the last financial year, which is a record earnings till date. LIC has also strengthened its hold on the market. LIC's market share in March 2021, by policy number, stood at 81.04 percent, which is 74.58 percent for the entire financial year.

    LIFE INSURANCE IS VERY IMPORANTANT AND VERY SERIOUS ISSUE.SO IT IS NOT ADVISABLEAND IMPRACTICAL TO HAVE ONLY 5 DAYS A WEEK.BECAUSE THERE ARE MATTERS LIKE DEATH CLAIM, MATURITY CLAIM ,REVIVAL ,NEWPROPOSAL ETC.SO WITH 5 DAYS A WEEK WE WILL DEPRIVE POLICY HOLDER AND PROSPECT OFABOVE MENTIONED MATTERS.I THINK IN THEYEARSTO COMELIC WILL LOSE MANY NEWBUSINESS.ONTHE CONTRARY LIC SHOULD WORK 6 DAYSA WEEK.ONLY SUND AY HOLIDAY,PLEASE BE SERIOUSABOUT CLIENTS SERVICES.THIS IS TO BE REGRESIVE STEPS.DO SOMETHING FOR THE BENEFIT OF CUSTOMERS.AS IT ISITS NOT THAT EASY TO DO MANY PROCESS AT NBAND PS DEPT.AND THIS IS BACKWARD STEPS.I HOPE LIC WILL THINK IN A RIGHTWAY.

    Then office should start by 10 AM and public should be able to transact from 10 AM and not 10.30 At present there is a tendency to start after 15 minutes in the morning.
