School fees case: Big shock to parents, Supreme Court announces decision of High Court, will have to pay full fees!

Supreme Court annulled the decision of High Court: The Supreme Court has given the final verdict today after its interim order given earlier in the school fees case. After the decision of the Supreme Court, now private schools will be able to recover the full fees of the Corona period.

Jaipur.  Accepting the appeal of private schools in Rajasthan, the Supreme Court has quashed the High Court decision that ordered private schools to charge 60 to 70 percent tuition fees. A bench of Supreme Court Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Murari gave this ruling today. However, only after a detailed decision is made, it will be clear that how much and how private schools will be able to collect the collection of fees.

On the same matter, on February 8, the Supreme Court gave an interim decision, saying that the parents would have to pay the full fees for the session 2020-21. However, while giving relief to the parents, the court had given exemption to pay this fee in 6 installments. For this, the first installment was decided by the court on 5 March. Now in the same case today, the court has given its final verdict today.

The High Court had given its verdict

The Rajasthan High Court, while giving the verdict on December 18 last year, said that private schools in the state affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education can charge 60 per cent tuition fees and schools which are affiliated with CBSE can charge 70 per cent tuition fees. Many well-known schools in the state, including Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and SMS, went to the Supreme Court against this decision of the High Court. Advocate Prateek Kasliwal, advocate Anugh Singhi and others advocated on behalf of the schools.
Since last year, parents have been traveling around the court

It is worth mentioning that since the last year, parents have been traveling around the court to pay the fees for the time of Corona. On the issue of fees, the Gehlot government had taken out orders giving some relief to the parents. But the matter reached the court after protests from private schools. When the parents got some relief from the High Court, the famous private school directors reached the Supreme Court.
