3M India Special Dividend: 3M India, a diversified technology and scientific company, which is all set to reward its shareholders with a dividend. The company has said that it would pay a final dividend for fiscal year 2024 as well as a special dividend to its shareholders. 3M India has already set the ex-date and record date for their upcoming dividend.

Rs 525 Special Dividend By 3M India

The board of 3M India has proposed a final dividend of 1,600% on each stock with a face value of Rs 10. Furthermore, the board has decided a special dividend of 5,250 percent on each shares. According to the calculations, the 160 percent final dividend translates into a distribution of Rs 160, while the 5,250 percent special dividend translates into a payout of Rs 525.
In all, 3M India would pay a cash incentive or dividend of Rs 685 per stock to its stockholders. "The Board recommended a Final Dividend of Rs 160 and a Special Dividend of Rs 525 per equity share of Rs 10 each, for the financial year 2023-24," the company said in a exchange filing.

3M India Dividend Ex Date, Record Date

According to the BSE website, 3M India shares will go ex-date on July 5 for a dividend of Rs 685. The final and special dividend of Rs 685 would be paid to qualified shareholders within 30 days after the AGM of the firm.
The 3M India dividend record date is July 5. "The Board of Directors have fixed July 5, 2024 (Friday) as the Record Date for determining the entitlement of the shareholders for the payment of aforesaid Dividends", according to the BSE website.

3M India Dividend History

3M India has declared dividends only twice in its entire history. The company paid its first dividend, a special dividend of Rs 850, in November 2022. The second dividend was a final payout of Rs 100 in July 2023.

At the current market price, 3M India's dividend yield comes at 0.44 per cent, as on June 17.
