Railways has made important changes in UTS on Mobile App to provide easy ticket facility to the passengers traveling in general coaches, under which now passengers can book general train tickets from any place.

There is a good news for the passengers traveling in the general coach of the railways. Now you will not have to stand in line at the station to buy a general coach ticket. The railways have made important changes in the UTS on mobile app to provide easy ticket facility to the passengers traveling in the general coach, under which now passengers can book general train tickets from any place.

Official sources of Kota division said that now the distance limit for booking tickets through UTS mobile app has been removed, due to which now passengers can book train tickets from anywhere. Earlier, the maximum distance limit for booking general tickets through UTS mobile app was 20 km. Sources enumerated the benefits of booking tickets on UTS mobile and said that this will get rid of long queues and also save paper.

Sources claimed that booking tickets through UTS on Mobile App is encouraging passengers and promoting self-ticketing. The railway administration has appealed to passengers traveling with unreserved tickets to use UTS on mobile ticketing app. Let us tell you how to book general tickets through UTS App.

How to book general ticket from UTS App

1: To book general train ticket online, you first have to download UTS app in your mobile.

2: Now after this, you have to register by filling your name, mobile number, ID card related information in the app.

3: On registering in UTS app, you will get an OTP on your mobile number. By entering this OTT, you will be able to sign up in the app.

4: Now after this, ID and password will come on your registered mobile number. Through which you will be able to log in to UTS App.

5: Now to book the ticket, you have to enter the details in the app where you want to book the ticket, fill in the details of where you have to go from where to where.

6: Now after this click on Next and Get Fare and press the Book Ticket button. You can book tickets using many payment methods including R-Wallet/UPI/Net Banking/Card.

7: Now the ticket will be visible in the app. If you want, you can get the ticket printed.
