IMD Alert: Heavy rain alert on October 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, clouds will rain in these states
Heavy Rain Alert: The weather has taken a turn once again. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in several states on October 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30.
IMD Alert: This monsoon season has been excellent for the country. Many states received heavy rainfall, filling rivers, dams, and ponds, and providing pleasant weather. However, with the monsoon’s departure, rainfall has ceased in many states. Despite this, its effects remain in many states, resulting in continued rainfall and heavy downpours. Meanwhile, the weather has taken a turn once again. Consequently, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Heavy Rain Alert for several states across the country for October 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30.
Western India
According to the Meteorological Department, the impact of the weather change will be felt in Western India. Heavy rain is expected in some parts of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Konkan, and Goa on October 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. During this period, there is also an alert for light rain, thunderstorms, and lightning in some districts.
Eastern and Central India
From October 26-30, the weather will also affect eastern and central India. According to the Meteorological Department, many areas in Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands will experience rain. During this period, light rain, thunderstorms, and lightning are also likely in many areas.
Northeast India
The weather has also changed in several states in the Northeast. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that heavy rain is expected in many areas of Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Nagaland on October 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. Light rain and thunderstorms are also forecast in several districts during this period.
South India
According to the Meteorological Department’s alert, the weather change will also be felt in South India. In the next five days, heavy rain is expected in many areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Yanam, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu. Winds of 30-50 kilometers per hour are also expected in many areas during this period.
