Cold Wave Warning: The cold is increasing day by day. The increasing cold has increased the chill in many states across the country. People are shivering due to the increasing impact of the cold, and its effects are being felt in many states. Now, the cold wave in the country will break records. In this context, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a cold wave warning for several states on December 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. This has triggered a severe cold alert.

Northwest India

Winter is poised to break records in northwest India. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning for several areas in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh on December 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. During this period, dense fog will prevail in many districts during the morning hours, and there is a snowfall alert in the hilly areas. This will cause severe cold.

Northeast India

Winter temperatures could break records in several states in the northeast. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Nagaland, warning of a cold wave in several districts on December 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. This will intensify the cold.

Eastern and Central India

Winter will also break records in the states of Eastern and Central India. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning for several districts in Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh on December 27-31. This will intensify the severe cold.

South India

South India will also not be spared from the effects of winter. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning for several areas in the southern interior regions of Karnataka and Telangana on December 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. This will intensify the chill.
