Electricity Saving Tips: By adopting these 4 methods, electricity bill will be reduced, there will be big savings every month
If you too are troubled by the ever-increasing electricity bill, then this news is for you. We are going to give you 4 such tips, by adopting which you can reduce your electricity bill, and save thousands of rupees every month.
New Delhi: Why is the electricity bill so high every month? The answer to this question will not be with even those who send electricity bills. Therefore, it is best to get involved in the process of reducing the electricity bill itself. Today we will tell you 4 such ways by adopting which you can reduce the electricity bill, and from day one you will start seeing its effect. Let us know which are the 4 ways on which…
1. REPLACE OLD BULBS WITH LEDS
Old filament bulbs and CFLs consume a lot of electricity. If they are replaced with LED bulbs, then not only will your electricity bill come down, but the illumination will also double. If we talk about the figures, then a 100 watt filament bulb consumes one unit of electricity in 10 hours. Whereas a 15 watt CFL consumes one unit of electricity in 66.5 hours. At the same time, a 9-watt LED will consume one unit of electricity after 111 hours.
2. KEEP RATING IN MIND WHILE BUYING ELECTRIC GOODS
While buying electronic items like fridge, air conditioner etc., special care should be taken of the rating. We should always try to buy equipment with 5 star rating. The starting price of these products is a bit high, but the electricity bill is very low in them, and their value is recovered after using them for a long time.
3. DON'T FORGET TO TURN OFF THE APPLIANCE WHEN YOU'RE DONE
It often happens that we go out of the room without turning off the light, fan and AC which is not right. Electrical appliances should be turned off when not in use. With this, you will be able to save from wastage of electricity and your electricity bill will also surely come down. You can do this work by leaving laziness. This is the easiest way to save electricity.
4. RUN AC AT 24 DEGREE TEMPERATURE ONLY

Air conditioner should always be run at 24 degree temperature. This is an ideal temp. Thousands of people use this technique to reduce electricity consumption. This also keeps the coolness in the room and does not affect the pocket too much. Along with this you can use timer. On setting the timer, once the room cools down, the AC automatically turns off. ReplyDeleteMost powerful tips to circulated every state electricity Bill with images so all general public followed seriously.
ReplyDeleteUseful tips. But the most important factor that will help us in saving thousands of rupees in electricity bills is the power tariff. We are unduly burdened every six months or so for inefficiency of the power generation and distributor companies. Can they improve efficiency and achieve reduction in their cost? Or are they collecting unreasonable profit by increasing tariff?
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Inefficiency of state electricity board, their old transmission line and political influence to provide cheaper electricity is the basis reason for ever increasing tarrif.
DeleteThanks for publishing such great knowledge. You are doing such a great job. This info is very helpful for everyone. Keep it up. Thanks once again for sharing it. test and tag melbourne
ReplyDeleteThese tips are well known. I am suggesting one good tip.It is seen that to reduce cost, some manufacturers are making the condensor coils of the A.C. in aluminium. It must be made of copper for best thermal conductivity. The govt. must make it mandatory for the coils to be made of copper.
ReplyDeleteMoreover, aluminium coils develop leaks after 2 yrs. It cannot be welded and has to be replaced with copper coils costing Rs 10, 000. I had this problem with my Godrej A.C. I filed a case in Consumer Forum against Godrej for NOT revealing in their operation manual that the coils are of aluminium. I won the case and got the cost & compensation for replacing with copper coils.
Hats off for doing yeoman's job. Governments have given open license to the corporate houses to indulge in unfair trade practices and it's people like you who are doing great work.

Reduce electricity rate as per other state
ReplyDeleteDon't suggest how to reduce
E C Bill
You are correct. In Delhi, I u'stand the electricity charges are nil upto 200 units and beyond that the rate is only 25% of the rates in other States. All State Govts should do this................................Why specialised treatment for Delhi? Are they super citizens? All Indians are equal, there should be no discrimination. This has to be taken up by Consumer Forums. Even the High Court of any State or the Supreme Court can take up on its own, without waitting for somebody to file a petition. This is a very serious matter.
DeleteNo need to cut electricity consumption in delhi kejri is giving free power
ReplyDeleteBewkoof aapie. Kjari bijli apne..... se paida karta hai kya??

ReplyDeleteGujrat electric bill bohot he maharastra me bahot kam bil aate he
ReplyDeleteये कौन सी नई जानकारी हैं ये तो सब जानते हैं. सरकार को फ्री में led देना चाहिए बहुत महँगा है.
DeleteGood Tip's
ReplyDeleteAuthority (State Govt.)should immediately check and stop unauthorized hooking (pilferage) of electricity for which we the authorized user are paying. The electricity charges should me reduced for law abiding bonafied users.
ReplyDeleteThe electric bill already prepaid but unnecessary disturbing mail is frequently coming.
ReplyDeleteVery informative post.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt the instructions are valuable. But if you see the Electricity Bill minutely, you will come to know the actual consumption charges are exactly half of the total bill and equal amount of various charges are loaded in it. Frequently, these charges percentage are increased or newly added for which we don't have control but to pay it. What about that?
ReplyDeleteYou are right. They are loading the cost of inefficiency on the public. This way of pricing the electricity should be stopped. 99.99% of the Electricity consumers are keeping quiet. They should all raise objection. They should not dump the abnormal costs on the public. ..............Public are not dustbins.
Deletevaluable tips
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for letting us know about it, you can also check out kelectric duplicate bill it will provide you complete guide.
ReplyDeleteYour Suggession are good but Actually Electricity rates are high in Haryana moreover various charges are included in bill. With these other charges Electricity bill goes high, Stop included these other charges and also cut electricity rates.
ReplyDeleteIf they reduce your electricity tarriff then how will the politicians be able to give free power to the crorepati "farmers" of your and neighbouring states. Someone has to pay for the freebies.
DeleteMoney had to come from someone. Politicians are not going to give from their pockets.
