ATM Withdrawal Charges: It is a common thing for customers to get net banking and debit i.e. ATM card along with opening an account in any bank. Nowadays people prefer to withdraw money from ATM instead of going to the bank for cash withdrawal. Account holders can withdraw cash from any bank’s ATM, but the thing to keep in mind is that for this also different banks have fixed the limit of free transaction from any other bank’s ATM.

How much will be charged for cash withdrawal from ATM?

In June 2022, the Reserve Bank of India had ordered banks to charge Rs 21 per transaction from customers in addition to the monthly ATM card fee. The thing to note is that the first five transactions from the ATM of your bank are absolutely free for the customers. Whereas in metro cities, a limit of three transactions has been fixed for other banks. Whereas in non-metro cities this limit is of five withdrawals. After doing more transactions than this, you will have to pay a maximum fee of Rs 21 per withdrawal. This rule has come into effect from January 1, 2022.

Know about SBI ATM withdrawal charges-

State Bank of India offers 5 free ATM transactions up to a monthly balance of Rs 25,000. And on withdrawals more than this, you will have to pay Rs 10 plus GST per transaction. At other bank’s ATMs you will have to pay Rs 20 plus GST. If your monthly balance is more than Rs 25,000 then you can withdraw cash from ATM as many times as you want for free.

Know about PNB ATM withdrawal charges-

PNB, the country’s second largest public sector bank, provides the facility of 5 free ATM transactions to its customers in both metro and non-metro cities. After this you will have to pay Rs 10 and GST charges on cash withdrawal from PNB. Whereas in other banks Rs 21 and GST charges will have to be paid.

Know about HDFC Bank withdrawal charges-

HDFC Bank, a big private sector bank, also gives its customers the facility to do 5 free ATM transactions in a month. Whereas in other banks in the metro city, this limit is of 3 transactions. After this you will have to pay Rs 21 plus GST fee per transaction.

Know about ICICI Bank withdrawal charges-

Like other banks, ICICI Bank has also set a limit of 5 transactions from ICICI Bank ATM and 3 transactions from ATMs of other banks. After this, customers will have to pay Rs 20 per withdrawal and Rs 8.50 for non-financial transactions.
