Indian Railways is planning to start Vande Bharat Sleeper trains from this year. Seeing its ever increasing demand, the Railway Ministry is taking a big decision.
Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Indian Railways has given great news for the passengers traveling by semi high speed train Vande Bharat. Railways is planning to start Vande Bharat Sleeper Train soon. According to the information, it can be started between Secunderabad and Pune. After its launch, passengers will be able to enjoy the journey even more.
Due to short time and comfortable journey, Vande Bharat has become the favorite train of the countrymen in a very short time. Seeing its increasing demand, the Ministry of Railways is increasing its operations from different parts of the country. Soon the number of Vande Bharat Express will reach 200 and now soon the sleeper coach of Vande Bharat is coming. This train will run from Pune Railway Station.
Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will be started
Indian Railways is planning to start Vande Bharat Sleeper trains from this year. Service is likely to start from the city between Secunderabad and Pune. Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are being planned to increase comfort and speed in long distance travel. These new trains are scheduled to be introduced later this year and are being manufactured by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).
These facilities will be available in sleeper coaches
These sleeper trains will have modern facilities, including inter-communicative automatic doors, better soundproofing, sensor-based lighting and a small pantry in each coach. Additionally, they will have bunk beds designed for comfort, special berths for the disabled and toilets equipped with anti-spill washbasins.
Vande Bharat sleeper train will run on this route
Secunderabad-Pune Vande Bharat sleeper coach will run on the same track on which Shatabdi Express is currently running. This train takes 8 hours and 25 minutes to cover the distance from Secunderabad to Pune, while Vande Bharat will reach its destination an hour earlier. Officials said that the exact schedule and stops for the new service have not been finalized yet. Sleeper Vande Bharat Express will have 16 coaches.
