ISRO Announces Free 5-Day Artificial Intelligence Course For Students; Free Certificate on Course Completion

In a groundbreaking initiative to nurture young talent in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), the Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO has announced a free 5-day Artificial Intelligence course exclusively designed for students. This program aims to equip the next generation with the essential skills to drive innovation in the space sector and beyond.

About the ISRO

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is India’s national space agency. It operates as the principal research and development arm of the Department of Space (DoS), which is directly overseen by the Prime Minister of India, with the Chairman of ISRO also serving as the chief executive of the DoS. ISRO has the world’s largest constellation of remote-sensing satellites and operates the GAGAN and IRNSS (NavIC) satellite navigation systems. It has sent three missions to the Moon and one to Mars.

It is primarily responsible for space-based operations, space exploration, international space cooperation and the development of related technologies.

it is one of the six government space agencies in the world that possess full launch capabilities, the ability to deploy cryogenic engines, the ability to launch extraterrestrial missions and the ability to operate a large fleet of artificial satellites.it is also one of only four governmental space agencies in the world to have soft landing (unmanned) capabilities

About the Artificial Intelligence Course

AI has been a part of our imaginations and simmering in research laboratories since 1956 when a group of computer scientists gathered at the Dartmouth Conference to create the science of artificial intelligence. In the decades since, AI has been hailed as the key to our civilization’s greatest future. Artificial intelligence is a program capable of sensing, reasoning, acting, and adapting.

Machine Learning refers to algorithms that increase in performance as they are exposed to more data over time. Deep Learning is a kind of machine learning that involves multilayered neural networks learning from massive quantities of data. Advances in computer processing and data storage enabled the collection and analysis of more data than ever before.

Also, more and more data is being produced by connecting more devices and machines to the internet and streaming large amounts of data from those devices. All of these advancements brought artificial intelligence closer to its original goal of creating intelligent machines, which we’re starting to see more and more in our everyday lives.

From recommendations on our favorite retail sites to auto-generated photo tags
on social media, many common online conveniences are powered by artificial intelligence. The main applications of deep learning AI can be divided into computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning.
