Indian Post Payments Bank wrote in its post on social media that if money is needed immediately and you do not have time to go to the bank, then there is no need to worry. Now you can withdraw money sitting at home using Aadhaar ATM (AePS) service. The postmaster will help to withdraw cash sitting at home.

How does this service work?

Through Aadhaar based payment process, a person can use his biometrics to withdraw cash or make payment from his Aadhaar linked account. Customers can withdraw small amount using AEPS without going to ATM or bank. This will save your time. According to the rules, to use this service, your Aadhaar must be linked to the bank account.

Which services can be used?

You can withdraw cash from home using Aeps system. You can check your bank account balance to know how much money is in your account. You can also take out a mini statement from this service. Apart from this, you can also transfer funds to another bank. You do not have to pay any charge for these services but you will have to pay the fee for doorstep service. To use Aadhaar ATM, you must have a bank account which is linked to Aadhaar. Also, biometric authentication is necessary
