Know the last date for submitting life certificate according to your age

Jeevan Pramaan Patra can be submitted between 1 to 30 November for those below 80 years of age. Super senior citizens i.e. those aged 80 years and above have been allowed to submit their life certificate from 1 October with the same last date of 30 November. Note that in the year 2019, the Central Government directed the banks to allow senior citizens to submit their life certificate from 1 October every year instead of November.

What will happen if the last date for submission of life certificate is missed?

If pensioners are unable to submit their life certificate by the last date, then their pension will be stopped from the next month. However, pension payment will resume after the life certificate is submitted.
