DL New Rules: Your driving license will be made only if you pass driving on the testing track. It will be mandatory for applicants applying for driving license for all types of two wheeler, three wheeler and four wheeler vehicles. This new system will soon be implemented for applicants applying for driving license in Saharsa district. For this, automated driving testing work will be done in Amarpur of Kahra block of the district. The testing track will be built in 247 times 215 land. District Transport Officer Sanjeev Kumar said that automated driving testing work will be done in Amarpur with an estimated amount of 47 lakh 79 thousand. In which separate testing tracks will be made for two wheeler, three wheeler and four wheeler vehicles. The Building Construction Department has been made the nodal agency to do the works. The Building Construction Department has issued a tender for this work. The last date for uploading documents related to e-tender has been fixed as 21 December 2024. The date for opening the technical bid has been fixed as 23 December 2024. The agency receiving the tender will have to complete the work within four months.

Testing track will be equipped with advanced technology: Automated driving testing track will be equipped with advanced technology. In which there will be modern arrangements like traffic, signal, reverse mode, access control, entry, exit, video analytics technology etc. during testing.

The entire test will be recorded in the camera: Applicants will have to give a test related to driving on the track in the stipulated time. Every activity will be captured in the camera. The entire system will be computerized.

This system will come to reduce road accidents: Before issuing DL, applicants will have to take a test by driving on the automated driving testing track, due to which only skilled people will be able to get DL. DTO said that with the aim of reducing road accidents, the system of automated driving

Testing is being restored.

Will have to be skilled in driving: Making DL will not be an easy task when there is a system of driving on the automated testing track. First people will have to be skilled in driving. Only then they will be able to pass by driving the vehicle skillfully on the track. For this, people will have to go to a school that gives training in driving and learn to drive. Especially, accidents will reduce with the availability of skilled drivers in driving big heavy vehicles like trucks, buses.

Whether the applicant is capable of driving or not will be tested: Whether the applicant is capable of driving or not will be tested by driving a vehicle on the automated driving test track. If the applicant passes the driving test, he will be issued a computerized driving license (DL). The applicant who fails will get a second chance but a time period will be fixed for that. Please note that at present there is a system of driving test before issuing the learning license in the city’s police line but it is not that effective.
