Driving License Rules: Duplicate RC-DL can be made from home using software, no need to visit RTO

 

Driving License: There is a relief news  for vehicle owners. Now you will not have to visit the RTO office to get RC and DL made. Duplicate RC and DL can be made from home with the Vahan-4  software. After Lucknow and Kanpur, this system will now start in Varanasi.

Driving License: Now soon you will be able to get duplicate registration certificate (RC) and driving license (DL) of vehicles from home. The RTO office is going to be directly connected to the software of the Central Transport Ministry. After this, the Vahan-4 software launched by the Transport Department will also start working. This will help in getting duplicate RC and DL. The trial of the software has been done.

In the first phase, it has been started in Lucknow and Kanpur from May 1. In the second phase, it will be implemented in many districts including Varanasi. The government has sanctioned about six crore rupees to the Transport Department.

With the launch of the software, vehicle owners will not have to visit the RTO for permanent DL, duplicate RC, NOC of any vehicle and changing the name of the vehicle owner. Vehicle owners can get all the information by entering five digits of the chassis number of their vehicle in the address bar of the software.
