The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for a week. In which states will the clouds drench people? Let’s find out.

Heavy rains are falling in many states of India, while in some places people are suffering due to heat. In the states where monsoon has arrived, it is raining heavily, while where monsoon has not yet arrived, the temperature has reached very high. The country’s capital Delhi also received heavy rains late last night. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rains in many states and light/moderate rains in many states for a week from today.

There will be heavy rain in these states

◙ According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain in Lakshadweep, Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka during June 15-17. During this time, winds are also likely to blow at a speed of 40-60 kilometers per hour in these states.

◙ Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa during June 15-17. Heavy rain is likely at some places in Gujarat state during June 17-19.

◙ Heavy rain is likely at many places in Odisha during June 15-18. Heavy rain is likely at many places in Chhattisgarh on June 16 and 17.

◙ Heavy rain is likely in Vidarbha during June 17-21. Heavy rain is likely at many places over West Bengal and Sikkim during 16-21 June. Heavy rain is likely at many places over Bihar on 18 and 19 June. Heavy rain is likely at many places over Jharkhand during 19-21 June. Heavy rain is likely over West Madhya Pradesh on 20 and 21 June.

◙ Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Uttarakhand during 16-19 June. Heavy rain is likely at many places over Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh during 19-21 June.

Light/moderate rain will occur in these states

◙ According to the Meteorological Department, light/moderate rain will occur at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Karnataka during June 15 to 17. During this time lightning may also occur and strong winds at the speed of 40-50 kmph are likely.

◙ On June 15 and 16, light/moderate rain is likely at many places in Gujarat state with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 30-40 kmph.

◙ Light/moderate rain is likely at many places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha during June 15-17 with lightning and strong winds at the speed of 40-50 kmph.

◙ Light/moderate rain is likely at some places in eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during June 19-21. Light/moderate rain is likely at some places in Odisha on 16-17 June. Light/moderate rain is likely at some places in Jharkhand on 17-18 June. Light/moderate rain is likely at some places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh during 15-21 June along with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 40-50 kmph.

◙ Light/moderate rain with thunderstorms is likely in Delhi for the next few days.

How will the weather be in Rajasthan?

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be thunderstorms in many places in Rajasthan in the next few days. Winds are likely to blow at a speed of 50-60 kmph to 70 kmph. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in eastern Rajasthan on 15, 20-21. In such a situation, there may be relief from heat in these places.
