Rainfall Alert: Heavy rain with wind speed of 50 kmph will occur in 17 states till October 1, Meteorological Department issued alert
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected at most places in Chhattisgarh from September 26 to 29. Meanwhile, eastern Madhya Pradesh may receive rain on September 29 and 30.
Heavy Rain Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain warning for several states for the coming days, accompanied by thunderstorms. According to the department, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is expected on different dates across eastern, central, western, southern, and northeastern India. Strong winds are also expected in many coastal and inland areas.
Rain will continue to lash many parts of the country in the coming days. Heavy rain and strong winds, particularly in eastern and southern Indian states, could disrupt normal life. However, according to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain normal.

According to the latest IMD report, rain is expected in Assam and Meghalaya from September 27th to October 1st. Rainfall is expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on September 25 and again from September 29 to October 1. Arunachal Pradesh will also receive rain on October 1.
According to the IMD, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and coastal Andhra Pradesh will experience rainfall until September 27. Rainfall is also expected in Karnataka from September 26 to 29. The weather department predicts winds of up to 40-50 km/h in coastal Andhra Pradesh.
