People are taking advantage of the wrong subsidy

The government’s decision stems from several key reasons: ensuring gas supplies reach the right people amid a gas shortage, eliminating fake and duplicate connections, and preventing black marketing and stockpiling. It has been observed in several cases that some people are taking advantage of the subsidy by having multiple connections. Aadhaar-based e-KYC has been introduced to prevent such incidents.

LPG Aadhaar e-KYC can be done through your mobile phone.

The good news is that users no longer need to visit the gas agency to complete this process. You can complete LPG Aadhaar e-KYC using your mobile phone by following a few simple steps. What is LPG Aadhaar e-KYC?

LPG e-KYC means that gas connection users digitally verify their identity through Aadhaar. Step 2: Next, you’ll need to download the Aadhaar FaceRD app. Complete the face scan or biometric verification according to the on-screen instructions. Once the process is complete, your LPG e-KYC will be successfully updated. According to the government, this entire process is free, easy, and can be completed in just a few minutes.
