Namo Bharat Train: Now Namo Bharat train will soon run on these routes including Alwar, check route and other details
Namo Bharat Train Update: The formation of BJP government in Delhi will speed up the Namo Bharat train and corridor project. The AAP government delayed giving in-principle approval and budget but now there will be no hindrance as BJP is in power in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan. Work on the corridors of Delhi-Panipat-Karnal and Delhi-Alwar route will progress rapidly. The central government has made a provision of Rs 2918 crore for NCRTC.
Namo Bharat Train Update: After the BJP government came to power in Delhi, the Namo Bharat train and corridor projects are also set to gain momentum. While the AAP government has been adopting an evasive attitude in giving in-principle approval to the Namo Bharat projects, it has also been hesitating in giving its share of the budget.
But now that the BJP government is in power in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan, there will be no obstacle. Sources in the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) said that work on the corridors of Delhi-Panipat-Karnal and Delhi-Alwar routes can also gain momentum.
The then AAP government had not given approval
It is known that the previous AAP government agreed to the Supreme Court for consent, but had not yet given its in-principle approval in writing. That is why both the corridors are not able to move forward at the expected pace. The 82.5 km long Delhi Ghaziabad Meerut Corridor is also on the verge of completion due to the grace of the Supreme Court.
Official sources say that now Namo Bharat can gain momentum on Delhi-Alwar and Delhi-Karnal routes. The central government has recently made a provision of Rs 2918 crore in the budget for NCRTC. Namo Bharat’s work on Delhi-Meerut corridor is in its final stage.
The proposal to run Namo Bharat on Delhi-Alwar route via Delhi-Gurugram to Shahjahanpur Neemrana Bahrod (SNB) is awaiting the green signal from the central government. It is expected that after the completion of the first corridor of Namo Bharat this year, the work on the second corridor will begin.
All routes will be connected at Sarai Kale Khan
Along with this, work is also to be done on the third route from Delhi to Karnal. Its DPR has also been prepared. In the coming time, NCRTC can also finalize the third route. All routes will connect at Sarai Kale Khan.
This was also discussed in a meeting of the Network Planning Group of Ministers under the PM Gati Shakti Mission last week. The progress of the Delhi Karnal Namo Bharat Project (RRTS Corridor) was discussed in the meeting.
With this, the distance between Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi and Karnal in Haryana is likely to be reduced from the current 3.5 – four hours to 90 minutes. This corridor will connect Delhi to major urban centers of North NCR and Haryana.
