New Challan System: Now challan will be issued online through AI for rule breakers in 26 districts
AI Challan System: Wearing double helmet and seat belt has become a habit among the people of Patna. Now the whole of Bihar will have to adopt this habit. Actually, there are preparations to implement the AI challan system in the whole of Bihar. On the lines of Patna, this system is going to be implemented in 26 districts of Bihar. The department aims to fully implement this system in all the districts of the state by March 31.

They never forget to follow traffic rules while driving a car or bike on the roads. If someone forgets, then this mistake becomes costly for them. This is the reason why wearing double helmet, wearing seat belt has become a habit among the people of Patna. Now the whole of Bihar will have to adopt this habit, because this AI challan system is being prepared to be implemented in the whole of Bihar. On the lines of Patna, this system is going to be implemented in 26 districts of Bihar.

After Patna, the system of issuing online challan will soon be started in Madhepura, Supaul, Aurangabad, Arwal, Jehanabad, Nawada, Samastipur, Madhubani, Sheikhpura, Jamui, Lakhisarai, Banka, Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar, Buxar, Rohtas, Kaimur, Bhojpur, Gopalganj, Siwan, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Vaishali, Khagaria and Motihari. For this, cameras are being installed in all the districts.
It will be implemented from this day
The Transport Department is now going to start the process of online challan in 26 other districts of the state, considering the capital Patna as a model. Under this scheme, CCTV cameras will be installed at about 80 squares and intersections in the first phase. The department aims to fully implement this system in all the districts of the state by March 31. In the first phase, cameras will be installed at 80 squares and intersections, while in the second phase this system will be implemented at about 120 other places as well. Through these cameras, violators of traffic rules will be monitored and challan will be generated with the help of artificial intelligence.
The system is implemented in these districts
Cameras have already been installed in the 4 smart city districts of Bihar like Patna, Bihar Sharif, Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur under the Smart City Scheme. This facility is already available in nine other cities Saran, Darbhanga, Gaya, Munger, Purnia, Saharsa, Begusarai, Bettiah and Dehri on Son under the Chief Minister’s Safe and Well Governed City Scheme.
