DDA New Housing Scheme: Just before the country’s 80th Independence Day, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has given a big gift to those who want to buy a house. The authority has launched a special housing scheme Karmajeevi Awas Yojana 2026. The main objective of this scheme is to make it easy and affordable for working professionals to buy a home in Delhi.

Karmajeevi Awas Yojana 2026 has been specially designed for those people who are continuously contributing to the construction and economic development of the country. Working and retired employees in government services as well as working professionals associated with corporate, business, entrepreneurs and professional sectors can take advantage of this scheme.

What is DDA’s new housing scheme? Here are all the details

Under this scheme, a huge discount of 25 percent is being given on more than 1200 ready-to-move flats located in Pocket-11, Sector A1-A4 of Narela. After 25% discount, the starting price of 1 BHK flat has been fixed at ₹33.40 lakh, the starting price of 2 BHK flat has been fixed at ₹75.55 lakh and the starting price of 3 BHK flat has been fixed at ₹1.065 crore.

Online registration to join the scheme is starting from July 24. At the same time, booking of flats will be opened on DDA Housing Portal from August 15 on first come, first serve basis. This residential project is located in Pocket-11 (Sector A1-A4) of Narela Sub-City. This area is included in the rapidly emerging growth corridor of Delhi. This entire complex is built in front of Mamurpur forest and amidst a lush green environment.

How is this area in terms of connectivity?

According to DDA, this place is much better in terms of connectivity. The project is just 500 meters from Urban Extension Road (UER)-I and 1.1 km from GT Karnal Road. Apart from this, it is located at a distance of about 1.2 km from the upcoming metro station, 1.9 km from the proposed RRTS station, 2 km from Narela Sports Complex, 5 km from the upcoming Education Hub, 6.15 km from UER-II and 9.2 km from the upcoming Integrated Sports Stadium.

The increasing popularity of Narela Sub-City can also be gauged from the recent sales figures of DDA. According to the press release of DDA, in the first quarter of the current financial year, DDA sold a total of 1284 flats. This generated revenue of more than ₹1020 crore. Of these, 1153 flats were sold in Narela sub-city alone. This is about 90 percent of the total sales.

Provision for tax exemption also?

Many discounts and special rules have been given in this scheme for the convenience of buyers. All the flats being given under the scheme are on freehold basis. Even if an applicant already owns a residential property, he can apply for this scheme. Apart from this, the option of connecting two adjacent flats will also be available as per the standards set by DDA. To maintain transparency, the entire booking process will be online and buyers can also inspect sample flats before purchasing.

Interested applicants can visit the official website of DDA www.dda.gov.in or DDA Awas Portal (https://eservices.dda.org.in) for detailed information about this scheme, eligibility criteria, price, booking process and other terms and conditions. For any kind of assistance, DDA can also be contacted on toll-free helpline number 1800-110-332.
