The IMD has reported that a Western Disturbance has become active, affecting many parts of North, Central, and Eastern India. Hailstorms are also possible in some areas. Temperatures may drop slightly, but strong winds and the risk of lightning will persist. This could pose a significant problem, especially for people working outdoors and travelers.

Over the past 24 hours, a marked change in weather has been evident in various parts of the country. Heavy rains have occurred in the northeastern states, raising the possibility of waterlogging and rising river levels. Meteorologists say this system will be most active between April 2 and 5. The weather is expected to be particularly bad on April 3 and 4. During this time, strong winds, rain, and lightning strikes are expected to increase, so people are advised to remain vigilant.
